Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi witnesses the graduation of a class "Fall 2024" From the University of Sharjah

SHARJAH, 18 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, witnessed today, in the University City Hall, the graduation ceremony of bachelor’s degree students from various colleges at the University of Sharjah, numbering 472 graduates.

The graduation ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem and a fragrant recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, after which Dr. Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi, Director of the University of Sharjah, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, for his kindness in sponsoring and attending the graduation ceremony of a distinguished new batch of university students holding a degree. Bachelor, congratulating the graduates on the day of their honor and congratulating them and their families on graduation, which embodies the fruit of years of effort, work and perseverance, and represents the beginning of… A new journey in their practical and professional lives.

In his speech, Dr. Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi addressed the efforts of the University of Sharjah in educating, preparing and qualifying its students in various types of knowledge, saying, “The academic degree that you obtained constitutes an incentive and motivation for you to be pioneers in your various fields and contributors to building your countries. Your university has prepared you with the necessary Competencies and skills to meet the requirements of the labor market and life with full merit and excellence, whether you are engineers, jurists, or specialists in any field of science and knowledge.”

He pointed out that graduation is not just the end of an educational journey, but rather the beginning of a new journey that carries the graduates’ hopes and ambitions to a bright reality, pointing to the generosity of mothers and fathers in supporting them throughout their journey with education, congratulating them on their graduation and wishing them success in serving society and their nations.

Graduate Muhammad Abdullah Al Shammari from the College of Engineering delivered a speech on behalf of his fellow graduates, in which he expressed his deepest feelings of loyalty and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who does not mention the name of the university unless it is mentioned before it, and who was and continues to be a symbol of giving and wise leadership. He laid the foundations of education and culture in the Emirate of Sharjah, and made science a beacon to guide him. His efforts in establishing this ancient university and its continuous support embody his insightful vision to build… Generations armed with knowledge and values.

He praised the continued support and care of His Highness the President of the University of Sharjah for the academic process, science and knowledge, which comes in accordance with an insightful vision and constant keenness from His Highness for the University of Sharjah to be a key to success and excellence. He directed his thanks and appreciation to the Director of the University of Sharjah, the Board of Trustees, and members of the teaching and administrative staff, whose doors were open to everyone and did not hesitate to provide assistance, noting that they were a source of inspiration and knowledge by providing the ideal scientific and educational environment for students. He also addressed the efforts of the graduates’ parents during the study period, who were supportive and helpful thanks to their sincere prayers and unlimited support.

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi handed over certificates to graduating students from all bachelor’s programs in the colleges of Business Administration, Communication, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Computing and Informatics, Public Policies, Sharia and Islamic Studies, Sciences, Fine Arts and Design, Law, and Engineering, congratulating His Highness to the graduates. Wishing them success in the practical aspect of their future lives.
