A 4.5 magnitude earthquake strikes northern Colombia

An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck El Bagre department in northern Colombia.
The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 7 kilometers south of El Bagre and at a depth of 74.6 kilometers. There have been no reports so far of human casualties or material damage as a result of the earthquake.
