Receiving applications for admission to the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025 has begun

Professor Sami Muhammad Daghash, Admissions and Registration Officer at the Royal University for Women, announced the start of receiving applications for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025, for female students wishing to join the undergraduate (Bachelor’s) and postgraduate (Master’s) programs. Professor Daghash called on female students to submit applications for admission by filling out the forms electronically through the university’s official website www.ruw.edu.bh or sending them via email. Applications can also be submitted directly to the Admissions and Registration Department at the Riffa Campus, where the admissions team receives all questions and inquiries and provides introductory tours to students and parents.

He pointed out that the Royal University for Women offers various programs, as the College of Business Administration and Law offers Bachelor of Business Administration programs in financial and banking studies, human resources, international business administration, and marketing. There is also a Bachelor of Law program taught in English and Arabic. In line with the needs of the labor market, in addition to the MBA programme.

With regard to the College of Arts and Design, the College offers Bachelor of Arts programs in Fashion Design, as it is considered the first and only university in the Kingdom of Bahrain to provide this program. It also provides other programs in the College of Arts that include graphic design and interior design, in addition to a Master’s in Design Management and a Master’s in Drawing and Photography. . The College of Engineering and Technology offers a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media and Interactive Technologies, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

Professor Daghash also pointed out the availability of a number of partial scholarships for outstanding female students in high school, stressing that these scholarships reflect the university’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and motivating female students to achieve the highest levels of education. He also revealed special discounts for sisters and international students, noting that these initiatives aim to provide an attractive and supportive educational environment for female students. The university also provides scholarships of up to 70% to female students aged 30 years and above, as part of the university’s endeavor to support female students who wish to complete their higher education and develop their academic and professional skills.

He added that the university pays great attention to developing the educational infrastructure and facilities, in line with the highest international academic standards, as it provides modern facilities that contribute to supporting female students academically and personally. The university also provides modern residential housing designed according to the highest standards of comfort, and includes all the services that guarantee a comfortable and stimulating living environment for female students who wish to live on campus. In addition to integrated sports facilities, including equipped gyms and various activities that enhance the healthy lifestyle of female students.

Professor Daghash concluded by saying that the Royal University for Women is proud to be the first private university in the Kingdom of Bahrain to obtain institutional accreditation from the Higher Education Council. It is also one of the universities recommended by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for bachelor’s and master’s programs. He added that the bachelor’s programs in business administration are officially recognized by the State of Kuwait, while all university programs are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Sultanate of Oman, and the bachelor’s programs are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
