Opening the Syrian airspace in front of flying, while keeping the regional situation under surveillance

Damascus, on June 14 / WAM / The Syrian General Aviation Authority announced today, Saturday, that the Syrian airspace is completely reopened to civil aviation movement, after the end of the circumstances that required a temporary closure of some air passages recently.
In a statement reported by the Syrian News Agency, the authority confirmed that the Syrian atmosphere has become safe and available for use in accordance with international safety standards, noting that all air passages, including those that link local airports to the international network, have become open to navigation movement.
The statement added that the authority will continue to follow up on the developments of the situation in the region, with the possibility of taking additional measures when necessary to ensure the highest levels of safety, renewing its commitment to continuous coordination with all the relevant authorities to secure the flow of air traffic.
