Cold chain logistics in China will grow by 4.3% in 2024

BEIJING, JANUARY 20, WAM/ The China Federation of Logistics and Procurement announced that the total demand for cold chain logistics reached 365 million tons during 2024, achieving a growth of 4.3 percent compared to the previous year.

China Central Channel reported that the total revenues of the cold chain logistics sector achieved a growth of 3.7 percent to reach 536.1 billion yuan, driven by the restaurant sector, which recorded revenues of 5.5718 trillion yuan, an annual increase of 5.3 percent.

Sales of new energy refrigerated trucks witnessed a significant growth of 350.8 percent to reach 21,368 vehicles.
