After obtaining his baccalaureate degree, he worked as a clerk in a bank, then left to work in the “Ahmed Al-Shami” band. Who was roaming in the countryside, then he joined George Abyad’s troupe to play tragic roles, but he did not last long, then he joined to work at the Agricultural Bank.

 

He met the great actor Aziz Eid and worked Together as "extras" In some foreign troupes that presented social and historical novels on the opera stage, then the two joined the “Okasha” troupe, and Al-Rihani’s talents as a comedic actor appeared in it in a clear way, especially in the short chapters that he acted between the chapters of the troupe’s dramatic novels.

During his artistic career, Al-Rihani presented a number of films, including three on the list of the 100 best films in the history of Egyptian cinema, including his latest film, “Ghazal El Banat.” Directed by Anwar Wagdi, he also participated in the starring role in many cinematic roles, most notably “His Excellency Kashkish Bey” And ”Yaqut Effendi, Abu Halmous, Woman’s Game, Si Omar, Red Lips, Salama Fi Khair.

The effect of “Al-Rihani’s” style In acting for many subsequent actors after him, including the artist “Fouad Al-Muhandis.” He praised the influence of Al-Rihani’s style on him and his acting approach, and he was also credited with developing theater and comedy art in the Arab world. Naguib Al-Rihani passed away on June 8, 1949, at the age of 60, after a struggle with illness, after he finished filming his last role in the movie “Ghazl Al-Banat”.
