The Arab League and Palestine agree to quickly provide humanitarian and medical relief to Gaza

 Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the League of Arab States, and Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Social Affairs Sector of the Arab League, agreed to quickly provide relief to the Gaza Strip in response to the League’s decisions and the Palestinian government’s plan. 

This came during Al-Aklouk’s meeting with “Abu Ghazaleh”, where they exchanged ways and means of delivering aid. Relief, humanitarian, medical and social assistance to the Gaza Strip;

 

The Permanent Delegation of the State of Palestine to the Arab League stated – in a statement today, Tuesday – that the two parties agreed to quickly intervene in the health and social framework in implementation of the decisions of the Arab Summit. And the Arab Council of Ministers of Health and Social Development, including the delivery of medicines, medical supplies, field hospitals, ambulances, and intensive care unit cars.

 

The meeting was attended by the Palestinian Delegation, diplomatic attaché Ola Amer Al-Jaab, Counselor Maysaa Al-Hadmi, Director of the Health Department at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
