Putin invites the Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region to surrender

On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Ukrainian forces fighting in the Corsak region to surrender.
Putin’s comments come after US President Donald Trump invited him to preserve the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.

“We are sympathetic to President Trump’s invitation,” Putin said in televised comments.
He added: “If they threw their weapons and surrender, it will guarantee them that life and the generous treatment,” calling on Ukraine leaders to issue an order for their forces to surrender.

Putin confirmed that the Ukrainian soldiers “committed many crimes against the civilian population” in the Kursk region.

He continued: At the same time, we show a response to President Trump’s call about these soldiers for humanitarian considerations.
Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski acknowledged on Friday that his soldiers in Kursk were “very difficult.”
