For the first time… 5 players represent the UAE in the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Championship

The Golf Association announced the participation of five players from the Emirates for the first time in the Ras Al Khaimah International Championship, one of the DP World rounds, during the seventh round competitions that begin tomorrow at the Al Hamra Club stadiums in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and the competition continues until January 26 of this year.
The Ras Al Khaimah International Golf Championship is one of the three most prominent tournaments in the Emirates, and one of the five most prominent tournaments in the Middle East, as its competitions are held within the international series in the Race to Dubai 2025, and its prizes reach 2.5 million US dollars, with 1,000 points in the Ryder Cup golf tournament.
Emirates Golf is led in the tournament by professional Adrian Otaegui, ranked 175th in the world, and has a record of five victories on the DP World Tours.
The second player is professional Joshua Grenfell, and he previously participated in the top 10 in two out of the six rounds in which he participated in the DP World Championship.
In the amateur category, three players are participating: the first ranked player in the country, Sam Mullan, and Jonathan Selvaraj, who won the title of the second edition of the Arab Golf Championship, in addition to the national team star, Ahmed Sukayk.
