Allowing foreigners to own real estate in the Blage region of Algeria

Resolution No. (27) of 2025 was issued to amend some provisions of Resolution No. (43) of 2003 regarding the ownership of non -Bahrainis for the real estate built and land in the Kingdom of Bahrain

The Official Gazette published the decision issued by His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Decision No. (27) of 2025, amending some provisions of Resolution No. (43) of 2003 regarding the ownership of non -Bahrainis for built and land real estate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The decision stipulated in its first article to replace maps of areas other than Bahraini properties for built and land, including the maps of the Muharraq and South governorates, accompanying Resolution No. (43) of 2003, with the new maps accompanying the current decision.

The second article also stipulated the addition of the “Blage Algiers area as a fifth item within the item (fourth) of the schedule of the regions and investment and tourism projects in which it is allowed to own non -Bahrainis ownership
