"Safir II" and"Sattam Al Wathba" Champions of the fifth race for Arabian horses in Al Dhafra
Al Dhafra, January 23, 2017 (WAM) The activities of the fifth race for purebred Arabian horses, organized by the Liwa Club, concluded yesterday over two runs of 1,400 meters each, in Madinat Zayed Square in the Al Dhafra region, with the participation of the most prominent riders and horses, and a large audience presence.
In the first half, the horse “Safir II”, owned by Ahmed Mohammed Art Al Mansouri, succeeded in achieving first place, while the horse “IF Al Sanaa”, owned by Rashid Saeed Al Mazrouei, came in second place, while “Shamekh”, owned by Saif Mohammed Art Abdullah Al Muhairi, came in first place. the third.
As for the second half, “Sattam Al Wathba” owned by Mohammed Mabkhout Suroor Al Mansouri won first place, ahead of “F Trembling” owned by Hamdan Suhail Ali Salmeen Al Mazrouei, who came in second place, while “S Abu Musa” owned by Hamad Ali Murshid Al Marar took first place. the third.
The winners were honored by Sultan Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at Liwa Sports Club, who stressed that the club always seeks to promote heritage sports, especially horse racing, because of the great cultural and historical value it holds for the UAE.
