Al Wasl Stadium hosts the West Asian knockout rounds in “AFC Champions 2”

The Asian Football Confederation revealed that Al Wasl Stadium in Zabeel has been approved to host the West Asian region’s knockout round matches in the AFC Champions League 2, in a step that confirms the continued confidence in the readiness of the UAE stadiums and their ability to organize the most prominent continental events with high efficiency.

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, Zabeel Stadium is scheduled to host two heavy-caliber confrontations, as Al-Wasl will meet Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia at six o’clock in the evening in the quarter-finals, in an anticipated confrontation during which the two teams will seek to reserve the qualification ticket to the semi-finals, in light of great ambitions on both sides to continue the journey towards the title.

On the same day, Al-Hussein Irbid of Jordan will meet Al-Ahly of Qatar at eleven in the evening, in a match no less powerful and important.

The championship competitions will continue on April 22, when the semi-final match will be held at Zabeel Stadium, where the winner of the match between Al-Wasl and Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia will face the winner of the match between Al-Hussein Irbid and Al-Ahly of Qatar, in a direct struggle for the ticket to qualify for the final of the West Asia region.
