19.7% increase in Saudi non-oil exports in November 2024

Today, the General Authority for Statistics issued the International Trade Statistics Bulletin for November 2024, recording – according to the bulletin’s results – an increase of 19.7% compared to November 2023.
The value of re-exported goods increased by 82.9% in the same period, while it decreased in November 2024 by 4.7% compared to November 2023.
According to the Statistics Authority, imports in November 2024 increased by 13.9%.
The results of the bulletin showed that, chemical industry products are among the most important non-oil export commodities, which constituted 24.0% of the total non-oil exports, as they decreased by 1.6% from November 2023, followed by “plastics, rubber and their products” (representing 21.7% of the total non-oil exports). ) which increased by 4.0% from November 2023.
On the other hand, the most important imported goods were “machinery, appliances, electrical equipment and their parts,” which constitute 28.1% of total imports, and rose by 22.4% from November 2023, then “transportation equipment and their parts,” which constitute 14.2% of total imports, and rose by 22.0% from November 2023.
