The second Iraqi Medical Conference begins tomorrow in Dubai

Dubai, January 23 / WAM / The Second Iraqi Medical Conference will begin in Dubai tomorrow, Friday, which will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, with the participation of an elite group of Iraqi doctors and researchers from various countries of the world.

The event is an ideal platform aimed at developing future medical technologies, and reflects the UAE’s role as a global hub for advanced healthcare and support of scientific innovation.

The conference, which lasts for two days at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library and is organized by the Emirates Society for Genetic Diseases, discusses the latest medical developments within main topics that include “medical genomics” and its role in personalized medicine and treatment of genetic diseases, and “artificial intelligence” and its applications in diagnosis and treatment. And the “Internet of Health” and enhancing remote monitoring of patients’ health.

The conference activities include the “Bao Award” ceremony, which aims to honor creativity and innovation in the health sector, and highlight Arab competencies that have contributed to improving the quality of health care.

The conference is being held with the support of the Dubai Economic and Tourism Authority, the Emirates Health Services Corporation and the “Thank You for Your Giving” volunteer team, and sponsored by “Pharma Lab” and “MS”.
