The divorce of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle…to the fore again!?

A Vanity Fair cover story published last week claimed that the Duchess of Sussex’s team had quietly been in talks with an unnamed publishing house to “gauge interest” in the book idea.
However, a source who has worked closely with the couple told Page Six: “Meghan and Harry know that they are so attached to each other, and their value is in being a couple, that even if they wanted to break up they wouldn’t be able to. And frankly, they are obsessed with each other. They are just two narcissistic people.”
A source familiar with the original $20 million deal the two signed in 2021 said they had never heard anything about a divorce letter.
However, the highly publicized deal, which was originally thought to include books on “leadership” and “wellness”, appears to have quietly fallen apart following Harry’s best-selling memoir: Spare.
A Vanity Fair source reportedly clarified that the so-called “divorce” book was supposed to be about the consequences of separating from Harry, and not about Markle’s first husband, Trevor Engelson, whom the Suits star divorced in 2014.
The Vanity magazine report indicated that the writers’ meeting did not mean that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were separating, but was intended to find out whether the publisher was “theoretically interested” in the event of a divorce. (Her)
