A family garden without walls in “Al Awir-2”

Dubai Municipality opened a family park without walls in the Al Aweer II area, with an area of ​​10,500 square meters, designed according to the highest creative design standards, which combines open spaces, green spaces, and recreational and service facilities, as part of its strategic projects to develop recreational facilities, public parks, and family squares. In order to meet the needs of the residents of the Emirate of Dubai, and enhance their quality of life and well-being.

The municipality inspired the idea of ​​​​designing the garden from nature and the rural environment of the region itself, which reflects the geographical and natural character of the emirate, which was aesthetically enhanced by the planting of types of trees of the local environment, including ghaf and shreesh trees, in addition to plumeria (Indian jasmine), ficus, and albizia, and it also includes facilities. Services and entertainment that provide an outlet for families in residential neighborhoods, including: a children’s play area, running and exercise tracks, and fitness equipment.

The Executive Director of the Public Utilities Corporation in the municipality, Badr Anwahi, said: “The project to develop public parks, recreational facilities, and family squares is one of the main and ongoing projects implemented by the municipality to provide world-class service and entertainment facilities that guarantee the highest levels of quality of life and luxury for the emirate’s residents. Through it, we also aim to provide Making Dubai more attractive and sustainable, by developing the emirate’s aesthetic and cultural landscape, creating communities that enjoy the best aspects of life and social well-being, and adopting sports as a way of life, in addition to Deepening social networking relationships between families and community members in residential neighborhoods, as well as providing new investment opportunities for citizens and people of the region, allowing them to showcase the products of their home projects.”
