The Human Rights Council’s unanimous condemnation of Iranian aggression reinforces the seriousness of these attacks and their violation of international law

The diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President, Dr. Anwar bin Muhammad Gargash, said on his account on the “X” platform that: The Human Rights Council in Geneva’s unanimous condemnation of the brutal Iranian aggression against the Arab Gulf states and brotherly Jordan represents a clear international position that reinforces the seriousness of these attacks and their clear violation of international law and the sovereignty of states.

He added: “Targeting civilians and infrastructure and threatening energy and navigation security will not pass without accountability, and the right to self-defense is guaranteed.”

He continued: “The continuation of the aggression only increases the isolation of the Iranian regime.”
