Border Guard ground patrols in the Raboua sector in the Asir region thwarted the smuggling of (645) kilograms of the narcotic qat plant, and the initial regulatory procedures were completed, and the seized items were handed over to the competent authority.
The border guards’ ground patrols in the Al-Da’ir sector in the Jazan region arrested (5) violators of the border security system of Ethiopian nationality, for smuggling (90) kilograms of the khat plant. The initial regulatory procedures were completed against them, and they and the seized items were handed over to the competent authority.
