Great turnout at the Publishing and Literature Authority’s pavilion at the Cairo Book Fair
The Cairo International Book Fair, in its 56th session, will be held at the Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Center in the Fifth Settlement.
Saudi Arabia’s participation in the Cairo International Book Fair
The embassy explained that there is an influx of visitors from different groups and ages, pointing out that the pavilion offers many diverse cultural activities, including interactive screens that attracted the public, especially young people.
Those in charge of the pavilion reviewed publications and studies on literature, translations and the Arabic language, with the aim of promoting a culture of dialogue and openness to others, within the framework of highlighting the Kingdom’s cultural identity.
The Authority, which leads the Kingdom’s distinguished participation, seeks to showcase Saudi cultural and intellectual production and strengthen cultural relations between the Kingdom and Egypt.

10 national entities
The participation of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority and 10 national bodies began in the fifty-sixth session of the Cairo International Book Fair 2025.
It is organized by the Egyptian General Book Authority during the period from January 23 to February 5.
The opening witnessed the presence of the Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers for Shura Council Affairs, Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussaini, and a number of officials.
