Standard participation in the first version of the Emirates Mixed Martial Arts Championship

Abu Dhabi, January 25/ WAM/ The first edition of the Emirates National Martial Combat Arts Championship witnesses record participation represented in 400 talents arising from various clubs and academies in the country.

Mohamed Al -Hosani, a member of the Mixed Martial Arts Committee of the Emirates Jujitsu Federation, said in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of the start of the tournament today in the Arina Mubadaph in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, that the tournament is the best preparation for the national team players in preparation for the world championship hosted by Abu Dhabi at the end of next July .

He pointed out that the tournament, which was dedicated to only young people, expanded to include adult groups over 18 years and a category under 12, as part of the Federation’s endeavor to develop competitions according to the requirements of the International Federation.

He explained that the mixed martial arts committee aims to expand the number of participants from the various emirates of the country, academies and clubs, pointing out that participation has been opened for the players residing in the country, which enhances the diversity and increase of the number of participants in the game.

For their part, a number of players participating in the championship and crowned in the first places in the first day competitions confirmed that the mixed martial arts sport “MMA” has its own position and requires a passion and a desire from the players in order to continue and win the Makhlaf Al -Nazzat, noting that the Emirates National Championship is the best preparation for the championship The world in Abu Dhabi.

Maid Ibrahim Al -Hosani said that his ambition in this sport and his competing goal in the largest championships and explained that he had a strong battle with his opponent and the victory was his main goal.

Sultan Al -Junaibi, who won a weight under 65 kilograms, stressed that the fight was difficult and harsh, as he was facing his friend, but luck was in the end, indicating that continuity and passion are the basis of success in this sport.
In turn, the player Ammar Yasser from Egypt expressed his happiness with his participation and his victory .. He said that the tournament in its new form is the best preparation and equipment for the next stage, and his ambition to maintain the level he reached to compete strongly in all championships.
