Abu Dhabi, January 27 / WAM / “ADNOC Gas PLC” “ADNOC Gas” announced today the signing of an agreement to supply liquefied natural gas with “Jera International Markets” Company, extending for three years, at a value of 1.65 billion dirhams, equivalent to “450 million dollars”, which… It will contribute to consolidating ADNOC Gas’s position as a reliable global supplier of clean energy, and meeting Japan’s requirements for energy resources.

The LNG will be supplied from ADNOC Gas’s liquefaction facilities on Das Island, which have a production capacity of approximately 6.0 million metric tons per year.

The company’s facility on Das Island is the third oldest LNG producing facility in the world, and since the start of its operations, it has contributed to the export of more than 3,500 shipments of LNG to customers around the world.

Fatima Al Nuaimi, CEO of ADNOC Gas, said: This agreement is based on the close relationship between the UAE and Japan and decades of close cooperation between ADNOC Gas and the Japanese Jira Group, which confirms the commitment of both parties to ensuring energy security and achieving a low-carbon future.
