217 million dirhams profits "The MDC Energy" During the first quarter
ABU DHABI, April 29/ WAM/ The MDC Energy, the company affiliated with the NDC Group, which owes the majority of its shares, announced the registration of strong financial results for the period ending March 31, 2025, driven by strong activity in implementing projects and the diversity of revenue sources.
The “NDC Energy” achieved during the first quarter of this year an increase in net profit by 25% on an annual basis, as it jumped from 174 million dirhams in the first quarter of 2024 to 217 million dirhams in the same period of 2025, and this growth was supported by strong operating and strategic expansion in new projects locally and globally.
The revenues also increased to 3.7 billion dirhams, an increase of 75% on an annual basis compared to the same period in 2024, and one share profits recorded a large leap by 25%, and the value of the company’s total assets reached 16.3 billion dirhams at the end of March 2025.
The total projects that were sent during the first quarter of this year amounted to 13.9 billion dirhams, and at the end of the first quarter ending on March 31, 2025, NMDC Energy has a set of future projects worth 56.3 billion dirhams.
Mohamed Hamad Al -Muhairi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that MDC Energe said that the company started in 2025 with a distinguished performance, which represents an extension of the strong results that we concluded last year and confirms its pioneering position in the regional energy sector, pointing to the company’s success in making great progress within its dynamic work from strengthening its future projects and deepening its global imprint.
For his part, Eng. Ahmed Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO, said that MDC Energy, that this distinguished start for 2025 represented a continuation of the high momentum that the company concluded last year with its achievement of unprecedented financial results.
He added that while the company continues to enhance its capabilities to implement local projects, during the results of the first quarter of this year, strategic achievements at the international level with the opening of an advanced manufacturing center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the consolidation of its presence in East Asia, indicating that the results of this period represent the fruit of years of preparation and effective decisions and embody our ambitious endeavors within its work sectors.
