المملكة: “Transport” launches an electronic service to inform truck drivers of their violations

The Ministry of Transport and Logistics has launched an electronic service that enables entities to receive notifications of violations of truck weights and dimensions directly through the National Violations Platform “Efaa”.

Reporting violations

This service aims to facilitate procedures for truck owners and keep them informed of their violations immediately, by specifying a representative to receive notifications through the Saudi Business Center platform, through the “Manage Alerts and Notifications” service and then “Refund Violations.”

The Ministry explained that this step comes in response to the challenges that were monitored during the meetings and workshops it held with a number of parties in the transport and logistics sector, which emphasized the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Compliance with rules and regulations

The Ministry of Transport stressed its keenness to facilitate procedures for truck owners and drivers, calling on them to activate the notification service to ensure compliance with rules and regulations, maintain road safety, and avoid the accumulation of financial fines.
The Ministry called on all parties to activate this service as soon as possible, stressing its importance in enhancing the efficiency of the transport sector and raising the level of its services.
