Performing performances .. “Contemporary” reviews the Saudi Brazilian arts in Riyadh

Today, the second edition of the “Contestation” event, organized by the Royal Institute for Traditional Arts “Wathir”, under the patronage of His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Institute’s Board of Trustees, by hosting the Federal Republic of Brazil under the title “The meeting of Saudi Brazilian arts” And, at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.
The three -day event highlights the artistic harmony between the Kingdom and Brazil by presenting five Saudi performance shows, which are met by five Brazilian performance shows, concluded with a built -in dance that combines traditional arts of both countries.

Saudi Brazilian arts

The event includes a joint artwork entitled “Harmony”, which combines a Saudi and Brazilian artist, along with more than 15 accompanying cultural events, including kinetic activities, artistic pieces, and specialized workshops aimed at introducing the traditional performance and visual arts of the two countries and enhancing cultural exchange between them.
The event will be held from January 30 to February 1, from 7 pm to 9 pm; To provide visitors with an exceptional cultural experience that combines entertainment and knowledge, in an atmosphere that reflects the joint artistic heritage between the Kingdom and Brazil.

Cultural heritage

It is noteworthy that the “Contemporary” event is one of the initiatives of the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, which aims to enhance the artistic movement and global cultural exchange, and to create platforms for communication between traditional arts locally and internationally.
The event contributes to raising the level of awareness of traditional arts, spreading and introducing them on a larger scale, within the efforts of the institute in achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 vision to preserve and strengthen cultural heritage and its promotion globally.
