A unique experience .. Al -Ula Festival celebrates the rich legacy of Arabic calligraphy
The event includes three main sections that reflect the aesthetics and authenticity of Arabic calligraphy, as the “Calligraphy in Tantoura” section offers a distinctive synthetic work designed by Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, inspired by her prominent work “Al -Hayat”, which expresses the deep artistic beauty of the Arabic calligraphy with a contemporary touch .

The “Gallery” section includes an individual exhibition of the artist Ghaleb Hawail, in which he displays his works inspired by Arabic calligraphy with innovative techniques, and also includes a collective exhibition that highlights the creations of a number of artists such as: Wissam Shawkat and Abdullah Akkar, in addition to the print designs of Ibrahim Zaki, and others, in a comprehensive review For the aesthetics of ancient art.

The “House of the Line” section comes to provide a distinctive experience that combines daily arts with luxury design, to discover products decorated with Arabic calligraphy, including luxury gowns, artistic style furniture by Sandra Haber Wahba, and innovative jewelry in joint cooperation between Sandra and Azza Al Qubaisi.

The festival includes a historical house that was converted into an internal store that highlights the distinctive cultural character of Ula, giving visitors a unique experience that mixes history and art.
It is noteworthy that the festival aims to highlight the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy in ways that combine heritage and contemporary, which reflects the role of Ula as a center for artistic and cultural creativity.
