The Red Crescent saves elderly

The Red Crescent crews managed, on Sunday evening, to save an elderly person from Tulkarm camp, after staying seven days inside his home without water or food, due to the continuous Israeli aggression. Its crews, headed by the director of the association, Manal Al -Hafi, managed to reach the elderly Abdul Karim Al -Awfi, in his seventies, inside his home in the camp and save his life. She added that the elderly stayed in his home alone throughout the period of the Israeli aggression on the camp, which lasted seven days, without water, food or medicines, and it was difficult to reach it due to the occupation preventing the Red Crescent teams from entering the camp, until the crews managed today to reach his home And his removal, where he was in a deteriorating health condition. The association indicated that the elderly was transferred to the martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city, and then to the home of one of his relatives. Tulkarm camp has lived seven days under an applicable siege imposed by the occupation forces, which led to the exacerbation of the humanitarian conditions inside it, and a complete interruption of basic services, such as water, electricity, communications and the Internet, in addition to the displacement of hundreds of families after being expelled from their homes at the hands of the occupation.
