The UAE affirms its firm stance towards preserving the rights of the Palestinian people

The UAE affirmed its commitment to supporting peace and stability in the region, and its firm historical position towards preserving the rights of the Palestinian people, and stressed the need to find a serious political horizon that leads to resolving the Palestinian -Israeli conflict and establishing an independent, sovereign Palestinian state that reflects its conviction that there is no stability in the region except by the two -state solution.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed, in a statement, that the great challenges facing the Middle East region require strengthening bridges of communication and dialogue, prevailing diplomatic solutions and intensifying regional and international efforts supporting the path of comprehensive peace, as the UAE has always called on the international community to enhance all efforts to address the radical causes For this extended conflict, and reaching a just and permanent solution that achieves security for the Palestinian and Israeli peoples.

She also affirmed her categorical rejection of the unpopular rights of the Palestinian people and an attempt to displace it, and called for the necessity of stopping settlement activities that threaten regional stability and undermine peace and coexistence opportunities.

The Ministry urged the international community, the United Nations and the Security Council to assume their responsibility and put an end to illegal practices that are incompatible with international law.

She stressed the importance of avoiding everything that could lead to the expansion of the conflict in the region, and she explained that the priority now after the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip should be focused on ending extremism, tension, violence, protecting all civilian lives, and delivering humanitarian aid urgently, safe and sustainable to the Strip.
