"A Railway for Arts and Design 13".. a vital platform to express artists about their capabilities and creativity

Dubai, February 5 / WAM / The 13th edition of the Sikka Festival of Arts and Design, organized by the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, will host in the historic Al -Shindagha neighborhood with the participation of more than 250 creators from the Emirates and the region, a wonderful selection of unique artistic creations, to form a vital platform for the expression of artists About their abilities and creativity.
Dubai Culture seeks through the festival to expand the horizons of emerging artists and help them express their various ideas and views, while presenting their talents to society.
The festival celebrates this year with the code of saffron through the “Saffron House” initiative, which includes seven artworks, the most prominent of which is the work of Fatima Al -Suwaidi, which explores the uses of saffron in daily life, and “Saffron Editions” by Mary Bayat, which highlights the relationship between art and nature, and the movie “Saffron in The United Arab Emirates “Omar Al -Othman, which documents the cultural importance of saffron through meetings with specialists, and the kindergarten Bou Abdullah offers the series” Emirati food with saffron “from six drawings, and the piety of the Naqbi highlights the importance of saffron in the” Saffron Al Mahfouz “show, while Rawda Al Mazrouei documented the scenes of an Emirati village in work “Terrorism.”
The festival gave its visitors the opportunity to taste cooking experiences of nine prominent chefs, including Maitha, Rashu and Arwa Lootah, who offer distinctive dining lists inspired by saffron daily in “dinner clubs”.
The festival offers about 100 live music shows with stars such as Maryam Imran Sajwani, Rashid Walid Al Marzouki and Hazna Al -Dhanhani. The event also includes 6 orchestra, including “Paradise Orchestra” with E. R. Rahman and “Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra”.
The night of Emirati music contributes to highlighting local talents such as Khalifa Al -Jahouri and Amira Al -Ali.
In another context, the “Dubai Technical Season” focused on the Dubai Creek with the “Canvas Wind” project from “Wind Raiss”, highlighting its commercial and cultural role.
The project includes three artworks from the creativity of six artists, including “Al -Sharaa 1” by Khawla Darwish, Rashid Al -Mulla, “Al -Sharaa 2” by Ghada Mahdi, Hermann Fernandez and “Al -Sharaa 3” for Al -Awadi’s share and daughter Maryam Al -Ramsi.
The program includes the display of the shadow imagination “creative in haste” and a unique visual experience, and the studio “Hello and easy” is displayed innovative designs that are inspired by local culture, such as “Click” bags, “Ellen Net” bags and the works of the artist Maryam Al -Obaidli and Nour Al -Khumairi.
