المملكة: The Red Crescent in Taif launches 4,175 ambulances last January

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Taif Governorate revealed its statistic for January 2025.
The number of reports launched by the emergency teams reached 4175 reports, including illnesses, traffic accidents and other emergency cases.

The authority indicated that the sick reports formed the highest percentage with 1697 reports, followed by traffic accidents with 1607 reports.

The emergency teams dealt with cases with high efficiency, through specialized cadres, and mechanisms equipped with the latest medical techniques.

24 ambulance centers operating around the clock

The authority confirmed that its ambulatory fleet includes vehicles equipped to face various emergency cases, in addition to 24 ambulance centers working around the clock to serve Taif and the surrounding areas.

It is noteworthy that the Red Crescent receives communications via the number 997 or the “Asafni” application, which enables users to request the ambulance service and follow the state of the communication easily.
