المملكة: The launch of 5 voluntary community initiatives for urban development in Taif

The Taif Municipality, represented by the General Administration of Media and Institutional Communication, launched 5 new voluntary societal initiatives.
This comes from the importance of the community’s role in planning and urban development, with the participation of the people, in its initiatives to improve the urban scene and enhance the supervisory role according to modern standards and classifications.

Urban development initiatives in Taif

The Secretary of Taif Governorate, Eng. Abdullah bin Khamese Al -Zaidi, explained that the Secretariat will be a help in meeting the requirements of development in all neighborhoods.
He pointed out that this participation is a pivotal intersection between community participation and urban development, and it is a cooperative process.

The first initiatives entitled (Friends of the neighborhood) targeted technicians and engineers, and the second entitled (Blessings lasts), and it targets individual volunteers “representatives of specialized societies”.

Reducing visual distortions

The third initiative (the Biology Union) also targets with the initiative (Our neighborhood is more beautiful) and the initiative (Ain Al -Madinah), the residents of the neighborhood to increase the number of observers, and to motivate the involving volunteers.
In addition to enhancing the involvement of community members in improving the quality of life and reducing visual distortions in the streets and neighborhoods.
