Dubai, February 3, 2017 – Deloitte, the consulting firm that supports digital transformation strategies, infrastructure development, and large-scale government programs, reviewed a number of strategic opinions on building future-ready societies, during the World Government Summit 2026, which will be held in Dubai from February 3 to 5.

Deloitte participates in the World Government Summit 2026, as a knowledge partner, by providing strategic opinions supported by research that address the most pressing challenges faced by governments, economies and societies around the world, in addition to the existing opportunities for them.

Deloitte presented a series of strategic opinions and valuable research revolving around four main axes that affect the agendas of governments around the world, including national infrastructure and reliable deterrence, trade models driven by artificial intelligence in emerging economies, smart and sustainable cities, and national health systems supported by artificial intelligence.

These themes reflect some of the most pressing challenges facing governments and the existing opportunities as they deal with geopolitical transformations, the accelerating pace of technical development, and the growing aspirations of societies.

The research and opinions presented by Deloitte address ways to enable countries to create infrastructure capable of withstanding challenges, diversifying economic engines, developing future-ready and environmentally responsible cities, in addition to creating smart and sustainable health systems supported by data and artificial intelligence.

Deloitte has continued its regular presence and participation in the World Government Summit over the past decade, by sharing expertise in the areas of digital government, the future of cities, economic strategy, data sovereignty, cloud computing adoption, and artificial intelligence governance.
