"Al-Hamriyah Free Zone" It hosts a new expansion for"Magnum" American

Sharjah, February 3, 2017 – The American Magnum Technology Center, the leading provider of manufacturing and technology solutions for the energy sector, announced its new expansion in the Hamriyah Free Zone, where it opened two closed facilities on a total area of approximately 53,806 square feet, as part of its ongoing plans to develop its industrial complex and enhance its presence in the areas of manufacturing standard data center packages, power distribution systems, cooling units, and hydrogen energy projects, which are witnessing rapid growth globally, thereby increasing the total area of land invested by the center in the free zone. His Excellency Saud Salem Al Mazrouei confirmed that Magnum’s new expansions in “Hamriyah Free Zone” come as a translation of the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah, which aims to strengthen its position as a hub for investments by international companies, and in support of the strategy of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority in developing an integrated logistical infrastructure that serves the energy sector and related industries. He explained that “Al Hamriyah Free Zone” in Sharjah is working to create a comprehensive services system that facilitates investors’ access to their needs, including developing advanced industrial facilities and building Innovative smart tools and advanced digital solutions contribute to analyzing and improving decision-making processes, enhancing the efficiency of operational performance, and supporting business growth by making optimal use of the capabilities of artificial intelligence and big data.

His Excellency indicated that the new expansion will contribute to enabling Magnum to benefit from the strategic location of the free zone and quick access to the markets of the Middle East, Africa and Europe, pointing out that the Authority continues its efforts to attract qualitative investments in the fields of traditional and renewable energy while adhering to the highest environmental standards. He explained that Al Hamriyah Free Zone has established its position as a major industrial and logistical center for the oil and gas industries, as it hosts more than 2,000 companies specialized in the petrochemical industries, oil and gas storage, and ship supply. For his part, Sajiv John, Vice President of the Magnum Technology Center, said that the launch of this expansion will provide a covered and equipped space to achieve continuous work flow and improve material handling and safety management, stressing that it will enhance the center’s operational efficiency and support its plans to expand in the manufacturing of standard data centers and their accessories, in addition to cooling systems and hydrogen energy projects.

He explained that the selection of Al Hamriyah Freehold in Sharjah for this project comes thanks to its unique privileges and diverse experience in the traditional and renewable energy sectors, as well as the facilities it provides to foreign investors, adding that the two new facilities will contribute to the expansion of the center to new markets across the Middle East, Africa and Europe, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety and providing an ideal environment for innovation and manufacturing.
