Al -Nahdi told «Emirates Today» that she discovered her hobby and interest in the field of “graphics” and 3D design, during her university studies, and worked to develop these interests and develop them through searches and education, until she was able to complete projects for virtual exhibitions, during the period of the pandemic that she motivated. She explained that she worked as a teaching assistant at the university, and she was able to transfer her hobby to the practical field, by establishing her company, “Bari”, in the field of “graffex” and “wehe” designs, and production, explaining that she went to establish her company, after she noticed the small number of local companies, which is that It is a professional work in the field of (metaphors and graphics), especially in the field of developing the interactive “video” video games, so I decided to enter this field.
Al -Nahdi indicated that her company started working in developing three interactive games inspired by the environment and Arab history, and carries games through its various stages in which it has been cut advanced steps, positive messages, expressing Emirati and Arab values and morals.
She added that the interactive video games industry is one of the global industries that are very popular, and most Arab markets depend on the production of foreign companies that control the largest shares of that industry, which makes them dream of expansion and growth in entering more in that field and designing games with modern innovative technologies The same used abroad, but with a focus on placing positive messages that express Arab values and suggests children the importance of these values, away from some games that mainly focus on violence methods only.
She pointed out that she cooperates, through her company, with a number of programmers at the “Programmain headquarters” in Dubai, about discussing the best ways to produce interactive games in attractive and professional ways, keeping pace with the levels of market competitiveness in that sector.
Al -Nahdi said that she was happy when she was chosen to design a personality and icon «National Renaissance Festival» or as it was called the “Rich” festival to support entrepreneurship, which was held in Dubai last December, under the kind patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the Women’s Union General, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, (Mother of the Emirates).
She explained that she designed the character “Rich” as an icon for the festival through a form of expressing the messages carried by the festival, as an activity that encourages young Emirati cadres to access the entrepreneurial sector, through a character characterized by wide and large eyes, to represent the aspiration to the future, and long and strong arms that express the ambition to reach To the goals of leadership, designing clothes to express the theory of digital transformation and digital currencies, in addition to wearing a personality for a white brightness that represents the local identity, and long legs to represent the speed of pace towards success in entrepreneurial projects and access to them.
Al -Nahdi described the extent of her feeling of happiness when she sees the character of the character that she designed, as she transmits joy in the hearts of children or visitors to the festival’s activities, who were keen to take memorial photos next to her.
She added that she did not forget her academic interests, through her work as a university teaching assistant, in addition to preparing free courses in the field of “graphics”.
She pointed out that she aspires to develop the scope of her company’s work in the interactive games industry, graphics and the metaphors as one of the future “digitization” industries, as she dreams of developing and making films with “Animation” technology, or three -dimensional animation, to be developed and produced local materials from those films that fit with the environment Emirati and Arabic.
