Targeting Kuwait International Airport with drones and hitting the radar system

The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Kuwait announced that Kuwait International Airport was targeted on Saturday evening by several drones that hit the airport’s radar system, but no human casualties were recorded.

The official spokesman, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, said that the incident was dealt with according to the emergency plan in place since the beginning of the crisis, and in full coordination with the competent authorities in the country.

The Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority affirmed its constant keenness to take all necessary measures to maintain the security and safety of civil aviation in the State of Kuwait.
