Swatini Minister: We seek to rehabilitate 300 thousand programmers in cooperation with the Emirates

Dubai, February 11 / WAM / His Excellency Savana Mazia, Minister of Information, Communications and Technology in the government of the Kingdom of Swatini, confirmed that cooperation between the Emirates and Swatini has made remarkable progress in the areas of artificial intelligence, cyber security and the Internet of Things, within the efforts of the two countries to enhance digital transformation. She explained in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” during the World Government Summit 2025, that since September last year, the UAE has managed to train 50 teachers from my insurmounts in these advanced specialties, and has also succeeded in setting a framework to qualify 300 thousand programmers, in a move aimed at empowering young people And opened new horizons for them in the digital labor market. Her Excellency praised the strategic partnership with the UAE, which allowed its country the opportunity to exchange experiences in the field of digital policies and legislation, in a manner that ensures a balance between digital security and attracting investments, while preserving an elastic and attractive business environment. She added that cooperation between the two countries also extends to multiple areas, including developing the capabilities of law enforcement devices in dealing with electronic crimes, and exploring job opportunities for a distance for the citizens of Aswini in Emirati companies, which contributes to taking advantage of national competencies without the need for their migration. She also indicated that her country is in the process of establishing a specialized academy that includes training programs in the fields of programming, artificial intelligence, and satellite technology, in cooperation with the Emirates, to ensure the follow -up of technological developments and enhance the impact of these initiatives on economic and social development.
