Dubai, February 11 / WAM / His Excellency Adel Bey Casemaleev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, confirmed that the world is witnessing major transformations, as the real power of countries has become formed in digital and informational spaces.
His Excellency said in a major speech delivered at the beginning of sessions on “Emerging World Powers”, which was held within the activities of the first day of the World Summit of Governments 2025, which started in Dubai today and continues for three days .. that his country, which is located in the heart of the Central Asia region, focuses on Its development is on increasing hydroelectric capabilities, and opening transport and digitization opportunities.
His Excellency said, “The question is not the one who owns the resources, but rather who determines the rules of their use, and the authority is no longer the property of those who own land and resources, but for those who create technologies and infrastructure with global influence.”

He added that those who succeed in integrating into this new system will get a great strategic advantage.
The first day of the summit included a session entitled “How will economic alliances lead the future of global influence?” His Excellency Pedro Reese, Minister of Economy in the Republic of Portugal, and His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zayoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
His Excellency Pedro Reese said that there are economic challenges in the world and are not limited to a specific region or a specific country, pointing out that strengthening global trade requires facing common challenges by achieving radical reforms, focusing on sustainable development, and reducing bureaucracy.
His Excellency stressed the importance of developing executive plans that focus on change and turn words and ideas into reality, stressing that “balance and respect” is the main factor behind the success of economic alliances.
For his part, His Excellency the Second Al -Zaydi said that globalization played a major role in building economic alliances, and that it is important for economic diversity and diversification of investment markets, indicating His Excellency that global economic alliances have changed after Kofid -19, and it became difficult to predict.

In a major session entitled “Can countries exceed their past?”, Professor James Robinson, Nobel Prize for Economics in 2024, Professor of International Conflict Studies at the University of Chicago, said that history does not represent a burden on countries and peoples, but it may provide a set of opportunities that It can be used to build a successful collective project.

He stressed that history affects the circumstances of states and peoples, but it does not determine their fate, stressing that the experiences of successful countries and peoples mix “development, modernity and benefit from history.

Lara Boro said that global competition between countries in the development of artificial intelligence will be one of the most prominent events that will focus on the world in the near future.

Frederick Keteb explained that artificial intelligence is “the latest technology in the world, and there are countries that invest billions in developing this field, and therefore it must be used from its benefits.”
