US President Donald Trump announced that he had made a “very long and fruitful” call with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on Wednesday, during which they agreed to start “immediately” negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
Trump said on his social platform, Truth Suusal, that they exchanged the invitation to “visit the country of each of them,” noting that he would call Ukrainian President Voludmir Zellinski “immediately” to inform him of the content of the call.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a phone conversation with his American counterpart Donald Trump that he wanted to find a “long -term solution” of the conflict in Ukraine through “peace negotiations”, according to what the Kremlin announced.
“President Putin mentioned the need to address the deep roots of the conflict, and it agreed with Trump that a long -term solution can be found through peace negotiations,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
