Digital transformation reshape government services scene

During their participation in the Government Services Forum, during their participation in the government services forum, within the activities of the World Summit of Governments 2025, the ministers, officials and experts emphasized that the digital transformation and technological innovation constitute a basic pillar, and a central factor that reshapes the future of government services, stressing the importance of partnership between governments and the private sector to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of services.

Participants in the forum discussed the role of artificial intelligence and data -based governance, while emphasizing the balance between innovation and privacy protection, and enhancing confidence and transparency in the use of data, stressing that international cooperation is the key to building a sustainable and effective digital future.

Montenegro Prime Minister Milogco Spicked called for a transformation in a culture of work that enhances flexibility in government systems and encourages cooperation to achieve effective change.

He stressed that investing in digital transformation should be part of a broader commitment to security and flexibility.

For his part, the head of government services in the UAE government, Mohammed bin Tala’i, said that governments are facing a fundamental shift, as technology is no longer just an aid tool, but rather has become the main driver for future services.

In a session entitled “The Technology Alliance and the Government … Towards building a smart and sustainable future”, government leaders and international executive officials in the technology sector discussed how strategic partnerships reshape public services and promote innovation.

She said: «The UAE focuses on five main factors for achieving government excellence: First, there is a clear strategic vision aimed at making the UAE government the best globally, secondly, obsession with measurement and data to define goals and achieve continuous success, third transparency, and accountability that guarantees the evaluation of local and global performance clearly, fourth building The capabilities and cultural change through the government’s investment in training government employees, and finally the employment of technology to improve government services.

The session included the Minister of Economy and Industry in the Republic of Estonia, Erki Keldo, the Minister of Local and Regional Government in the Republic of Finland, Anna Ekkon, and the head of the Governmental Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Olfi Mahdi.
