“Dubai Roads” determines the fees for issuing a new driver’s license

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai has identified a new driving license service fee for its applicants in various education centers.

According to the authority, the fees are at 100 dirhams.

It also specified 200 dirhams, a learning permit for the following varieties: a light bus – a heavy bus – a light mechanical device – a heavy mechanical device – a heavy vehicle.

The fees also include 200 dirhams, a traffic file for opening, 50 dirhams, a safe driving guide, and an electronic vision examination fee at vision examination centers: 140 dirhams as a minimum and a maximum dirham of 180 dirhams. This is in addition to 20 dirhams, drawing innovation and knowledge.

As for the issuance of a driver’s license, the authority stated that the applicant can pay 100 dirhams, drawing the issuance of the driver’s license for those under 21 years, and 300 dirhams.

In the event that the driving learning permit category is modified from an ordinary spare part to automatic or vice versa, 200 dirhams are paid in addition to 20 dirhams, an innovation and knowledge fee.

The authority indicated that in the event of adding a category to the driver’s license, 200 dirhams must be paid for the new license fee, and 20 dirhams, a fee for innovation and knowledge, while paying an electronic view examination fee at the vision examination centers: 140 dirhams as a minimum and a maximum of 180 dirhams.

She pointed out that in the event that the driver’s license is not issued after passing the road examination for a period of more than a year, 200 dirhams will be paid for an opening of a learning file, 100 dirhams, a learning form, 50 dirhams, a safe driving guide, 300 dirhams, a driver’s license, 200 dirhams, a fee for the Roads and Transport Authority, and 20 dirhams, an innovation and knowledge fee.
