The UAE supports the health sector in Gaza with 65 tons of medical supplies in cooperation with “World Health”

Within its continuous efforts, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, the United Arab Emirates handed over a new batch of medicines and medical supplies to the organization’s warehouses in preparation for their transfer to the Gaza Strip hospitals, in light of the great collapse and the sharp deterioration witnessed by the health sector as a result of the continuous blockade.
The batch, which was delivered today, included 11 trucks carrying about 65 tons of various drugs, including life -saving drugs and emergency medical supplies, to meet the urgent needs of health facilities operating in the sector.
Representatives of the World Health Organization emphasized that the UAE is one of the most prominent supporters of the sector, especially in the health field and called for strengthening international efforts to provide urgent relief.
The organization praised the medical aid provided and stressed that it will contribute directly to alleviating the pharmaceutical crisis, and enhancing the ability of hospitals and health care centers to respond to the increasing medical needs.
The UAE continues, within the “Al -Faris 3” operation, to provide diverse support to the people of Gaza in the fields of food, accommodation, education, and health, as part of its steadfast humanitarian commitment to the Palestinian people
