"Dubai Open Championship " Tomorrow, with the participation of 1294 swimmers and swimming

Dubai, February 13/WAM/The Dubai Open Swimming Championship 2025 will start tomorrow at the Hamdan Sports Complex, which is organized by the Hamilton Academy Aquatx and ESM, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, and will continue until February 16.
1294 swimming and swimming of 122 clubs representing 30 countries, and competing in 136 varied races in the youth and professionals, allows local swimmers to contact international stars.
The list of participants includes Olympic champions and world records, along with a group of swimmers from different countries.
This came during the press conference held by the organizing committee today at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council, in the presence of Abdullah Shahdad, Director of the Hamdan Sports Complex, Ghazi Al -Madani, representative of the Dubai Sports Council, and Baba Clark, Director of “ESM and Hallalton Aquatx”, in addition to the Olympic swimmers Dunkan Scott and Ben Baraoud .
Abdullah Shahdad stressed that the tournament is a great opportunity for local athletes to benefit from diversity in training schools, which enhances their artistic development.
He pointed out that the tournament, which started in 2013 under the name “Middle East Swimming Championship”, is witnessing a continuous development, and has become one of the prominent activities that support sports tourism in Dubai.
For his part, Ghazi Al -Madani considered that the tournament embodies the successful partnership between the public and private sectors to develop sports talents, in line with the Dubai Sports Council strategy.
Denkan Scotten, who holds several medals in the Olympic Games, world championships, and the Commonwealth games, and Ben Braoud, the world champion winner of the Olympic silver medal in the Paris 2024 Olympics, stressed that Dubai provides an ideal environment for athletes, and that the Hamdan Sports Complex is one of the best facilities in the world to prepare generations New from promising swimmers.
