المملكة: Thunderstorms continue on most areas until Monday

The General Directorate of Civil Defense confirmed the continuation of thunderstorms in most regions of the Kingdom, until next Monday.
She called for caution and caution, the need to stay in safe places and move away from places where torrents and valleys are gathered and not swimming in them, and to adhere to the instructions announced through the various media and social media sites.

Mecca and Riyadh rain

The “Civil Defense” explained that the Makkah Al -Mukarramah region will be affected by moderate rains that lead to the flow of torrents, colds, and winds that are dusty and dust to include Al -Moya, Al -Khurma, Rania, and soil, and light to medium to include Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al -Harbiyat, the Holy Capital, Bahra, Al -Jumuum, Khalis and Al -Kamil.
The Riyadh region will also be affected by moderate rains that lead to the flow of torrents, colds, and dust and dusty winds to include Riyadh, the capital, Diriyah, Diama, Al -Muzahimiya, Afif, Dawadmi, Al -Quwaiya, Shaqra, Al -Ghat, Al -Zulfi, Al -Majmaah, Ramah, Rain, Raad, Harimila, and Matta, and light to medium to include Al -Dalam, Al -Harb, Al -Kharj, Al -Hatta Bani Tamim.

The Directorate indicated that the Qassim, the Northern Borders and Al -Jawf regions will be affected by medium, light to medium rains to include the areas of Al -Baha, Asir, Hail, Al -Sharqiya and Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah.

Moderate atmosphere and rain in the eastern

The eastern and central regions of the Kingdom are witnessing a wonderful atmosphere, with expectations of light to medium rains that may be heavy sometimes, accompanied by showers of cold, according to the weather analyst at the National Meteorological Center Aqil Al -Aqil.

The clouds will also help retain temperatures, making the atmosphere to warmth during the night, while continuing the moderate and enjoyable weather during the weekend until the beginning of next week.

The cold atmosphere continues

Al -Aqil explained that the temperatures will remain low in the north, east and central Kingdom, with general stability in the airspace during this week.

He added that the winter ends astronomically on March 20, 2025, while the spring season begins on the first of March, in conjunction with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, as it is expected that most regions of the Kingdom will witness moderate weather with the continuation of the relative cold in the north during the first half of the month.
Al -Aqil also pointed out that the cold atmosphere will continue until the end of February, followed by a gradual wave of temperatures with the entry of Mars, with signs of light to moderate rains in some areas, especially in the southwest and south.
