The UAE leads “Forbes” to the 100 most powerful businesswomen in the Middle East

The most powerful businesswomen continues, on the annual “Forbes Middle East” list, to make a tangible impact in various sectors, through their leadership, the most prominent local and international companies in the region.

And “Forbes Middle East” revealed that the UAE topped the rating of this year with 46 women working from within the country, which confirms its role as a business center in the region, followed by Egypt with 18 women, then Saudi Arabia with nine women.

As for the most representative nationalities, the list has topped 18 Egyptian leaders, followed by 11 Emirati leaders, and nine Lebanese leaders.

For the third year in a row, the CEO of the first Abu Dhabi Bank Group, Hana Al -Rostamani, topped the list, and the Executive Vice President of the National Bank of Kuwait Group, Sheikha Khaled Al -Bahr, ranked second, followed in the third place in the third place, the institutional partner and the executive president of the Burjahth Group Holding, Sichista, Asif.

The first seven positions have been on the list unchanged since 2024, but for the first time, the CEO of ADNOC Marine Company, Taiba Al -Hashemi, the Chairman of the Board and the CEO of the “Astr de DM Group for Health Care – GCC countries”, Alisha Mobin, Executive Director of the Dubai Engineering Aviation Projects Corporation, Susan Al -Anani, among the first 10 places, to witness the ranking this year, the joining of 27 new leaders.

In turn, the banking and financial services sector continues to dominate the list with 25 leader, followed by the “Health Care” and “technology” sectors with nine leaders each, while the Risk Capital Sector included five leaders.

The banking and financial services sector also constituted 40% of the first 10 places.
