54 thousand families benefited from housing support … and 48 thousand inhabited their homes

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing revealed that more than 54,000 Saudi families benefit from housing support programs during the first half of 2025.
This comes as a continuation of the efforts made to achieve the targets of the program – one of the Saudi Vision Vision 2030 programs – by raising the percentage of housing ownership to 70% by 2030.

The first residence

The ministry clarified that more than 48,000 inhabited its homes during the first six months of 2025.
The subsidized real estate financing program recorded a remarkable growth with the signing of more than 27,000 thousand financing supported by low -income people during the first half of the year, bypassing the first half, an increase of 63%, while about 3,800 families benefited from the beneficiaries of the development housing paths.
She noted the recording of 90%satisfaction of the beneficiaries, exceeding the annual target of 80%, while maintaining the average closure of objection requests in a period not exceeding 1.5 working days, confirming the efficiency of the digital structure and the integration of the beneficiaries’ journey.

Organizational amendments

The Ministry indicated that these results came in conjunction with the adoption of 5 organizational amendments to the housing support list after the approval of the Council of Ministers, with the aim of expanding the segment of the beneficiaries and improving the criteria of eligibility, and enhancing the flexibility of distribution of products in line with social and demographic variables.
She emphasized that the achievements achieved reflect the maturity of the housing support system and the acceleration of the financing and organizational policies, in an effort to achieve the targets of the housing program – one of the Saudi Vision Vision 2030 programs – by reaching the percentage of ownership of Saudi families to 70% by 2030, where the percentage of housing ownership until the end of last year reached 65.4%.
