The UAE Parliamentary Division participates in the work of the Asian Parliament in Baku

The UAE Parliamentary Division is participating in the fifteenth session of the Asian Parliamentary Society, which will be held from February 17 to 21 in the city of Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, under the title “The role of parliamentary diplomacy in enhancing multilateral cooperation in Asia.”
The delegation of the division is chaired by His Excellency Dr. Tariq Hamid Al -Tayer, First Deputy Chairman of the Federal National Council, President of the Emirati Parliamentary Division Group, and in his membership, His Excellency Fatima Ali Al -Muhairi, Vice President of the Group, Khaled Omar Al -Kharji, Muhammad Issa Al -Khatif, and Dr. Nidal Muhammad Al -Tunaiji, members of the Council, And Afra Rashid Al -Basti, Assistant Secretary -General for Parliamentary Communication in the Council.
The participation agenda includes the meeting of the association’s executive council, in which the two presidents and the general Secretary -General of the Association will be reviewed, and to consider draft decisions permanent committees: economic and sustainable development, budget and planning, social and cultural affairs, political affairs, and the adoption of the agenda of the plenary session 15 For the Asian Parliament, which will be held on February 19.
During the meetings of the Executive Council, the president of the Asian Parliamentary Society will be appointed for the period 2025 – 2027 AD, and the vice -presidents, and review the reports of the Palestine Committee, the activities of the work team concerned with organizational documents, and the association’s office sessions.
