Sharjah University organizes the Fifth Forum for Women in Scientific Research February 20

Sharjah, February 15 / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, President of Sharjah University, the university organizes the “Fifth Forum for Women in Scientific Research” on February 20 under the slogan “Power .. Together we create to form the future”, with a goal Supporting women in the field of scientific research at local, regional and international levels, while highlighting the most prominent experiences of researchers and their efforts in serving society.

The forum discusses with the participation of speakers from inside and outside the country, topics of sustainable innovation and filling the gap between scientific research and practical solutions, as well as an exhibition of scientific posters to present women’s achievements in this field.

The winners of the Best Scientific Research Award will also be announced from 297 research papers presented by 260 universities around the world.

The forum provides more than 40 research grants for winning researchers among four categories that deal with the most important topics and challenges in the fields of health sciences, biomedical engineering, technology, law, law and Islamic studies, in addition to the fields of fine arts and design, literature, humanities and social sciences, communication and business administration.

The forum comes under the auspices and support of both Nama Foundation to improve women (strategic partner), Emirates International Aluminum Company (Industry Partner), Khorfakkan University (academic partner), in addition to supporting golden partners such as the Electricity, Water and Sharjah Gas Authority, Emirates NBD Group, and Institute Technological innovation, medical partners such as Pfizer and Strazinica, Sharjah National Oil Corporation (Energy Partner), Huawei, Intel, and Lenovo (technology partner), Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center “Sharia” (leadership partner), in addition to the participation of more than 150 community partners .
