The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, honored the Princess Bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al -Rajhi, on Sunday evening, the ten winners of the 1224 -year -old social work in the Princess Bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work, During the ceremony, which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh.

The ceremony began with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, then Eng. Al -Rajhi gave a speech in which he said: “Whoever is generous and generous in the service of humanity, and whoever strives to serve his society and his country with love and passion, is not satisfied except to embody the country’s vision and take care of its most accurate details, because he knows certainty These details are the vision of an inspiring leader who is only satisfied with excellence and betting on the citizen as a real engine for development. “
He added: The Princess Sita Bint Abdulaziz Award since its foundation in a permanent movement with the humanitarian and national achievements, which demonstrate the greatness of this country and the ambition of its children.
He pointed to the efforts of the award during its past sessions, which was the high number of winners of its awards from (115) to (136) winners and the increase in the number of programs from (22) to (50) programs distributed between all regions and governorates of the Kingdom, benefiting (42,500) beneficiaries, Voluntary opportunities have also increased to (15,500) voluntary opportunities.
The price of the support that the award finds from the wise leadership – may God protect it – and its good directions that the citizen remain the focus of development and an active partner in achieving the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, which was keen on the award institution in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

The Secretary -General of the award welcomed Dr. Fahd bin Hamad Al -Maghlouth, on the attendance and congratulated the winners of the award, explaining that the subject of the award in its 12th session “Social Investment … an impact of an impact” that carries in its contents deep connotations, not the least of which is the state’s keenness and leaders – may God protect them – to encourage, support and adopt This type of investment.

He pointed out that in its 12th session, about 722, 120 of them moved to the stage of scientific evaluation and then moved 21 for the final arbitration stage, and after the screening and field visits to each of them, the jury agreed on the victory of 10 pioneers, celebrated by honoring this night with this brilliant presence.

Social intelligence in the service of humanity

Dr. Al -Maghlouth announced the title of the 13th session of the award in the name of “social intelligence in the service of humanity”, explaining that it aims to shed light on the importance of building positive and influential human relationships, and inspire individuals and societies to adopt the values ​​of cooperation, sympathy and innovation to achieve a sustainable impact that serves humanity.
He also revealed the guest of honor, “King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action”, expressing hospitality and appreciation for the role of the global center and pioneering in humanitarian actions.
Dr. Al -Maghlouth concluded his speech by thanks and appreciation to the Board of Trustees of the Prize Foundation for their continuous support to upgrade the institution, its programs and initiatives, as well as thanks to the workers in the award of the award for their bright and distinctive efforts and for all the attendees and honors for their honor and attendance at the honoring ceremony, calling for mercy to the late His Highness Princess Sita Bint Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on her.

Relief projects in 105 countries directly

He noted the royal vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abd al -Aziz Al Saud – may God protect him – during 10 years when he announced the establishment and building of the new concept of humanitarian and charitable work from the establishment of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Acts, the relief arm of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Al -Rabiah added that the center was able, by directing the owner of the Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince, the head of the Council of Ministers, to achieve record achievements in his short age since its foundation.
The center implemented 3308 relief projects in all humanitarian sectors in 105 countries directly, or with its UN and international partners, whose number has reached 211 organizations, and is one of the largest international centers that implement external volunteer projects, as 871 volunteer projects implemented.

The ceremony was chosen by honoring the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development the winners of the award, where he won the branch of “Excellence in National Achievement”, equally by the Ministry of Interior – the General Directorate of Prisons – for the Farajat electronic service initiative, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing for the City Development Initiative, and in the branch of “Excellence in the Endowment Al -Islami “Stopping Sarwat won the initiative of Dakk Schools.
In the branch of “Excellence in Social Action Programs”, the award was awarded equally between a restoration association for the Samia Center for housing volunteering, and the Gross National Foundation for the initiative to establish the Namal Social Investment Company, and won the award in the branch of “Excellence for Social Work Pioneers” Saleh Hamza Al -Serafi for the Investment Initiative Social.
As for the branch of “Excellence in Social Responsibility”, the award was awarded equally between the National Company for Unified purchase (Nobco) for the initiative of bright efforts for social work, and the NEOM company for social responsibility initiatives and programs in NEOM.
Finally, in the “Environmental Sustainability” branch, the award was awarded equally between the branch of the Ministry of Health in the Najran region, for its initiatives for social investment, and the National Center for Wildlife Development for the initiative of the contract trip project to explore the Red Sea.
