Dubai Marine Authority announces its willingness to participate in the “Dubai International Boat Fair”

The Dubai Marine Authority of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation has announced its willingness to participate in the 30th session of the “Dubai International Boat Fair 2023” between February 19 and 23 in the waterfront “Dubai Harper” in Dubai, which is the largest and most prominent international exhibition on marine life in the East The middle, which is expected to receive more than 30,000 visitors and in the presence of more than 200 yachts and a global commercial knee.
Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Dubai Naval Authority, stressed that the participation of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, represented by the Dubai Marine Authority, comes within its goals towards strengthening the position of the Emirate of Dubai as a global center in the field of maritime navigation, and luxury foreign yachts, And marine entertainment activities, adding that the authority is preparing to participate in the Dubai International Boat Fair in its current session of 2025 with 4 leading projects aimed at serving investors and marine industry pioneers under one roof.
Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Ahmed pointed to the polarization of about 100 luxurious yachts carrying a foreign flag during the year 2024, which confirms Dubai’s position as an ideal destination to host this annual event, pointing to the authority’s efforts towards developing, organizing and managing the maritime sector and marine activities in the emirate in accordance with the best global practices To ensure the highest levels of safety and quality.
The Authority participates in the exhibition in the “Training Towers” project, which is concerned with providing comprehensive coverage of marine spaces in cooperation with the relevant partners, as well as the project to register maritime means and how to prepare to test a driving license for a naval means, in addition to providing a room for simulation, which provides a virtual experience for visitors inside the platform.
In the context of its participation in the exhibition, the authority affirmed its full readiness to provide all the services required for the participating boats and yachts, in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure a smooth and integrated experience, and it intends to announce new innovations that serve the maritime sector.
Sheikh Dr. Saeed Al Maktoum pointed out that the Dubai Marine Authority platform in the exhibition will provide a rich experience for visitors, including interactive offers, specialized workshops, and discussions on the latest developments in the marine sector. He added: “We are looking forward to enhancing Dubai’s position as an exceptional global destination for yacht, and one of the most advanced and competitive marine capitals in the world.”
