Hamdan bin Mohammed receives the Malaysian Minister of Defense and discusses with him ways to enhance bilateral cooperation

Abu Dhabi, February 17 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received today (Monday) His Excellency Mohammed Khaled Nour El -Din, Minister of Defense in Malaysia, on the sidelines of the International Defense Exhibition work IDEX 2025 with the start of its seventeenth session in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, His Highness welcomed the Malaysian Minister of Defense, stressing that the UAE adopts an approach based on constructive cooperation and openness with all brotherly and friendly countries, pointing out that bilateral relations between the two countries are witnessing increasing growth in light of the common desire to improve their various paths and within various fields.
The two sides reviewed the ways to upgrade bilateral cooperation frameworks in the field of exchanging experiences and transfer technology, while emphasizing the importance of continuing to discuss and coordinate on regional and international files in common concern.
During the meeting, the most prominent regional and international developments were discussed, as the two sides stressed the importance of unifying efforts to ensure security and stability in the region, and to spread the elements of peace in various parts of the world. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Lieutenant General Ibrahim Nasser Al -Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, and His Excellency Major General Mubarak Saeed Ghafan Al -Jabri, Vice -President of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the IDEX and Nafdex Exhibitions 2025.
