"Burjeel Holding" It launches a plan to create a radiation tumor -treating network in the Gulf countries

Abu Dhabi, February 18/ WAM/ The Burjeel Holding Group announced its plan to establish a leading network for radiation tumor treatment in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, after its acquisition of a 80% stake in the Advance Care Center for Oncology Diagnosis and Treatment (ACOC) in Dubai, specialized in Radiation therapy, nuclear medicine and chemotherapy services.
This step comes as part of the Burjeel strategy to improve the care of cancer patients in the region, by taking advantage of the center’s experience in building a medical network that provides advanced and available tumor treatment.

The acquisition was for 92 million dirhams with the option to acquire the remaining session in the future.
The network, which will be established under the “Advance Care Center”, aims to improve access to specialized treatment throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the independent centers in the Emirates and the Gulf states will expand, to become reliable points for radiation therapy equipped with the latest treatment techniques such as modern LINAC systems and radiation planning Using artificial intelligence and fine photography tools.
This network will be supported by the Burgel Oncology Facilities and Institute (BCI) that provides advanced cancer treatment, allowing patients who need oncology surgery, immunotherapy, robotic surgery, or bone marrow transplantation by receiving comprehensive and integrated care.
John Sunil, CEO of the Burjeel Holding Group, said that the group’s vision is to build a comprehensive and advanced network for tumor treatment in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which meets the increasing needs of specialized care in cancer, pointing out that through the development of the center, high -quality radiotherapy will be provided and improved results Health care in the region.

He added that through this initiative, the group seeks to enhance its position as a major health care provider in the Gulf region, and to provide effective treatment for cancer patients in time.
